The Voluntary Support Scheme is a small local charity in Mid Devon which links volunteers with people who are going through a rough patch in their lives (anxiety, depression, isolation). We also run a Self-Help group which meets every week, where people can have a coffee and a chat as well as participating in organised activities and outings. There is absolutely no pressure to do anything that you are not comfortable with, and the atmosphere of the Self-Help group is very relaxed and informal.
